Welcome to La Maison Verte

 

Aiming to provide our guests with luxurious accommodation in beautiful surroundings.

 

Whether you want bed and breakfast, or bed, breakfast and evening meal a warm welcome awaits you at La Maison Verte.

 

Our 19th century farmhouse has been totally renovated, keeping all of its charm but adapted for 21st century living. Set in five acres of stunning scenery this is an ideal base for exploring the area, searching for that second home, or just relaxing by our 10m x 5m swimming pool.

 

Our house is your house. All guests are welcome to use all the facilities. There is a large dining room where meals are taken, when the weather is good you have the option of eating outside on the terrace.

 

After dinner relax in the lounge and on a cold winters night warm yourself in front of the roaring log fire.

 

There is also a separate television room with a wide choice of DVD's, videos and board games.

 

Based one hour from Limoges airport, La Maison Verte is an ideal base for that holiday, mini break or overnight stop en route to the south of France. If required we can collect you from the airport.

 

Whatever your reasons to visit us we can assure you of a warm welcome.

 

Accommodation

 

We have 4 rooms available for you to choose from.

 

Bedrooms 1 and 2

 

On the first floor are two beautiful rooms with views overlooking the valley.  Available as twin or double rooms, with en suite bathroom including bath and shower. Original exposed oak beams, oak floorboards, built in wardrobes, decorated to a very high standard, a mixture of old and contemporary.

 

Suite 1

 

Also on the first floor is one of our suites. Downstairs is a sitting room with original exposed beams, oak floorboards and part exposed stone wall.  En suite bathroom with large bath, separate shower and double wash basin.

 

An oak staircase leads you up to the bedroom, again with oak floorboards, built in wardrobe and decorated to a very high standard also with stunning countryside views. This suite sleeps 3/4 people.

 

 

 

Suite 2

 

Entry into a large airy sitting room with part exposed stone wall and beautiful oak doors overlooking the fields. The large double bedroom is on the first floor accessed by a metal spiral staircase. Complete with en suite bathroom, including bath, separate shower and double wash basin.

 

This suite has been decorated in a completely contemporary design. This suite sleeps 3/4 people.

• Travel cot and high chair available at no extra cost.
• Please note that we only accept Euro cheques or euros.

 

 

 

Prices

 

Prices are on a per night basis.

 

One person	€70.00 includes continental breakfast
Two people in a bedroom	€90.00 includes continental breakfast
Two people in a suite	€110.00 includes continental breakfast
Three people	€110.00 includes continental breakfast

 

 

Breakfast includes bread, croissants, confitures, fruit juices, cereals, yoghurt, tea and coffee.

 

Table d'hotes

 

After a busy day out let us prepare a special meal for you. All meals are prepared fresh on a daily basis. Wherever possible we try to use local produce and home grown vegetables. We are happy to cater for vegetarians or any special dietary requirements.

 

All meals are 4 courses including an aperitif before dinner, wine and beer with dinner and tea or coffee after your meal.
