Description:
Beautiful stone farmhouse in the heart of the countryside with extensive gardens and views overlooking wild flower meadows and the chestnut woodlands of the Limousin. We are only minutes away from the Dordogne and Charente.
The Farm House Bed and Breakfast
Our traditional farmhouse, built from meteorite stone, or ‘moonstone’ as the locals call it, has a sitting room with piano, TV and a dining room with wood-burning stove. The four bedrooms overlook our gardens, cornfields and our ancient church.
- Bedroom one: one double bed and en-suite bathroom.
- Bedroom two: one double bed and en-suite shower room.
- Bedroom three is a family room with one double bed and one single bed on a mezzanine. It has an en-suite shower room. We can put in an additional folding child's bed next to the single bed.
- Bedroom four is a family room with three single beds and an en-suite shower room.
All rooms in the main house have tea and coffee making facilities and the house has full central heating. Membership of Gîtes de France ensures the very highest quality of our accommodation.
The Gardens
Both houses have their own private gardens, which are spacious, lawned and planted with peach trees. They are both equipped with tables, chairs, a barbeque and have access to a shared play area in the old orchard with swings.
The farmyard
A delight for children and an inspiration for artists, the fermette, once a dairy and sheep farm, is in the process of being partially restored to its former use. Children love our hens and geese.

Our menu is based on traditional, local Limousin recipes and our own, homegrown produce, including vegetables, honey and freshly laid eggs.
