Musée de la Sénatorerie, Guéret, Creuse

Description:

Museum set in the old Hôtel de la Sénatorerie in Gueret, in the middle of a public garden.  Expositions include tapestries, art and paintings from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries.  The Salle de Peinture includes works from artists who took their inspiration from the Creuse valley.  Other attractions include expositions on Limousin goldsmithery, and Chinese ceramics.

Opening hours:

From the 1May to the 30 June and from 1 September to 31 October - From 10h00 to 12h00 and from 14h00 to 18h00 except Tuesdays and Bank Holidays.

From 1July to 31 August - From 10h00 to 12h00 and 14h00 to 18h00 every day except bank holidays.

From 1 November to 30 April - From 14h00 to 18h00 except Tuesdays and bank holidays, and the second, fouth and fifth Sunday each month.
