Description:

Founded in 1845, the museum is now sited in a purpose built facility on the site of a former lunatic asylum.  The new building was inaugurated in 1900, and contains collections of pottery (7th Century BC to 19th Century), tin-glazed earthenware (17th to 19th Century), Stoneware (Chinese collection from 618 AD to present day), porcelain, glass (15th to 20th Century) as well as a complete history of Limoges porcelain, including contemporary works.

Opening Hours:

Open every day except Tuesdays.
10 a.m. - 12.25 p.m. / 2 p.m.- 5.40 p.m.

Closed on 1st May, 25th December and 1st January.

 

Entrance Fee :

Since 2 July 2008 :

Full price : 4,50 euros
Reduced Price : 3 euros (Groups of more than 20, 18-25 year-olds and members of the "Museum Friends" association).

Entrance is free to under 18s, teachers, friends of Adrien Dubouché Museum. Entrance is free to all visitors on the first Sunday of each month.
