Description:

Inaugurated in 1985 by the General council of Haute-Vienne, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Rochechouart is built within the beautiful 13th Century Chateau.  The modern works in contrast to the stunning Renaissance frescoes of the building.

Renowned works from Gerhard Richter, Sigmat Polke, Richard Long, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Douglas Gordon, Valerie Jouve, Bernard Frize, Gabriel Orozco and Pierre Huyghe.
