Description:

Constructed on the Ile de Vassiviere and conceived by architects Aldo Rossi and Xavier Fabre, it is a creation of exposition open all year, with a focus on contemporary sculptures.  The buildings include a library, a number of exhibition halls, a bookshop, library, artists workshop, and spaces reserved for educational purposes.

The Parc de Sculptures is an open air museum containing thirty works of art by French and international artists, and is free to visit.  The Cafe de L'Ile with it's terrace facing the lake welcomes visitors every day in summer.

Opening hours:

Every day from 11h to 19h (18h in winter)
Closed 25 Dec and 1 Jan.
Guided visits available by reservation - 4pm during July and August.
