Flu vaccines now available in Limousin and across FranceVaccines for the flu are now available across France until the 31 January. The vaccines can protect from the most common strains of flu which strike millions of people every year in France.
At risk groups are particularly recommended to accept the vaccine and they include people over 65 years old, people with respiratory complaints such as Asthma as well as those suffering from heart and kidney problems and those suffering from diabetes.
Although not compulsory, the vaccine is also being offered to pregnant women and obese people. Anyone else who would like to be vaccinated can be, although they have to pay for it (6 Euros plus the cost of the doctor/nurse who will administer it).
